I wonder what Skunkworks is up to these days? Project Aurora? who knows. All it can be said it is generations ahead of the EF.

@demonbre hahaha all your knowledge is a lie :P

@AircraftKid01 Average it can outturn the and outrun a stripped down F-16 in stealth configuration. That is one hell of an 'average' oh and to be clear that is the case with the A and C models the B Model is a different story. However it can due the Harrier trick and cause enemies like the Rafale, the Flanker, the Eagle, and the Typhoon to pass it while it has a good AoA on the plane. Dont criticize a plane if you never piloted it or at the very least know someone who has... ):-(

@vgtboy Agreed. The F-35 is good only as long as its undetected.Once detected, its top speed of 1.6mach,its low wpn capacity and avg maneuverability would leave it highly vulnerable.

@TheRedSamuraiMK India agreed to rafale because the only thing they can afford is cheap soviet junk, the french pledged to pay for most of the expenses in the deal with india, thats why they took the deal.
Sarkozy personally went on world tour trying to sell rafale and no wanted it after tests, they prefered EF, F-35, F-16, F-15 over rafale
South Korea Saudi Arabia Libya Turkey Italy Spain Brazil Singapore Germany etc all of them prefered EF and the US jets over rafale they can't be all wrong

france quit for they wanted a air to ground primary role aircraft

@xv2ut It did lost to the dassault in india but more countries use the typhoon. The dassault is used only by France and India if I'm not mistaken. And people get way too exited, ofc every documentary talks like "we're the best". However take into account that the typhoon was made before the f-22 which is without a doubt a fifth gen. and the best fighter in service, but still the typhoon is an awesome plane.

THIS PLANE LOST THE INDIAN MRCA DEAL TO THE FRENCH DASSAULT RAFALE!!!!!!!!!!!

@bhigr AND MORE TO THE POINT! I actually met an F-16 pilot who works at Edwards and he is the one who told me this in the latter comment. He did not tell me how fast he and the Lightning II was going because that part has to be classified, all he said was that his F-16 could barely keep up AND his chase F-16 had the new more powerful engines for the export F-16E/F models, and in clean config, and he was at full throttle, AND the F-35 was at dry thrust if that is not impressive than nothing is...
Probably ;)

i've just downloaded this, and i had to find it on you tube so that i could share my opinion about it:
what u bunch of lies! "the best multirole fighter in the world"?! "the best fighter in the world"?!
with the F-35 around the corner, the truth is that this aircraft was outdated before production even began. For instance, the russian mig 1.42 was more advanced than the eurofighter, but was still deemed outdated and abandoned in favor of the T-50.
tv documentaries lie as a matter of course.

@demonbre Well also the F-22 is incredibly advanced, but of course the US won't sell it =)
