  • The sugar cubes in water is a worship station that deals with repentance and confession. The participants were asked to think of things that they need forgiveness for, then pray as they held the sugar cubes. Then they drop the cubes in the hot water and watched the cubes dissolve. As their sins are dissolved in the love and forgiveness of Christ.

  • Whats wrong with just praying and reading the bible and singing songs?

Experience is a good thing. But too many Christians rely on their own experiences as the source of truth. The bible is God's revelation to us and it is the word of truth.

I know people into these "new" ways of worshiping and being christian who now deny much of the bible's doctrines and messages.

  • this is so cool. i like this way of worship as it really suits the needs of the people. guess this is what ministry and missionaries are all about. u got to be creative to preach the good news in a way that people can digest and fit in.

  • "Bible" is supposed to be capitalized, even in this postmodern day.

  • this IS worship--but it's worshipping yourself. It's so experience-centered, it's almost humanism. Come on! Is this truth, where Christ died to fill our every want? No! Christ died so we could have life in Him--not life in ourselves.

  • wow... this is so not what Christianity is about.

  • This service was not reverent, and was focused on self, rather than God..... It is completely postmodern.....

  • Oh My. Wow!!! Thanks for sharing this! Very powerful...to say the least.

  • So, what's with the sugar cubes in water at the beginning?
