TextNow iPhone/iPod touch App Reivew

Text now is a very useful new app by Enflick. This app acts as a text messager and resembles the iPhone's Messenger App interface which if you like, then you're sure to like the TextNow experience. There are some features packed in as well such as:

-Unlimited Texting to mobile phones and other people who have TextNow on iPhone or iPod Touch

-Background Wallpapers on the conversation screen

-Customizable toolbar color and ringtone (no vibrate function; you can set certain ringtones for certain people)

-Your own Reply address and Name which people see and respond to

-Push Notifications (OS 3.0 or higher)

-Google Voice integration

This app, though you don't have to pay a monthly service fee, you have to pay for an extended subscription if you want to keep using it. The app is $0.99 up front but that only lasts you 3 months, you can upgrade your use to 1 year for $3.99 or get a lifetime subscription for $7.99. Pricey, maybe, but if you dont want the hassle of a cell phone plan, then this seems pretty nice. The subscription fee and not having the ability to use your own backgrounds are the things I dislike about the app, other than that, probably the best messaging app since Ping!.

Text now gives u ur own number do you can call or text anyone with a number aslong as ur in wifi range

Wait..im kind of confused :l im going to be getting a new iPod touch in a week or so, 8GB memory, and in the video you said that we have a certain amount of time to use it then we have to pay..but in the description you say: "-Unlimited Texting to mobile phones and other people who have TextNow on iPhone or iPod Touch"..does that mean they changed it to be completely free? please reply or message me if someone has the answer :D
