According to my memory I don't think I have seen much (if any) paper cutting up close and in focus, I gave it a try on my webcam and thought it was cool enough to share. It started as a simple little experiment and turned out being pretty cool. I made a few curls with tiny slivers of cut paper, a better demonstration of sharpness compared to just slicing big pieces off, though maybe not quite as visually impressive, until now!
The knife is a Kershaw Leek 1660G10, and the paper is standard thickness, might seem a little rigid from the video since it is a small piece, but I assure you it is standard. No, the knife does not come this sharp, back when I took the knife out of the box in 2008 it was really sharp no doubt, but not quite like this. It has been slightly re-profiled on water stones, and I am always touching it up on ceramic rods and stropping it.
is that the model with the S30V? sharpening these newer super steels can be a bitch. good job!

@lefthandhuck Yep, this is my s30v leek, my first and only leek. Never had trouble getting it sharp, it is just more time consuming to get sharp. I have had to use stones on it twice, other than that I just keep it touched up with ceramic rods and stropping. Amazing steel, and now I am even thinking of getting the spyderco caly 3 with a zdp-189 edge, the hardness of that stuff is getting awfully close to tungsten carbide. Has a rockwell hardness of about 67!
