  • Of course! Money talks, since that it was invented, so you 're sure in your point of view.

  • Of course! You 're sure! Money talks! Everything is embedded into money, since that it was invented.

  • Darwin's theories apply to economics, too. Contraceptives and helicopters are expensive, and are a drain on governments since they provide very little return of investment, if any. The govs that support these "humane" methods tend to go under quickly, while the hunt and harvest culling pays back the govs nearly triple the costs involved.

Let me know when a conservation organization can come up with an economically competitive, self-sustaining, "humane" culling plan. Charity isn't enough.

  • what kind of heart do you have? you r just happy to sit down and watch elephants be killed just because there are too many? people dont kill humans because there are too many of us.

  • Something is right, Darwin 's theory has been coming about since he developded it, We are in fact animals. I got the conclusion that is necessary in this planet people 's culling, sorry! I forgot that it is happening in Iraq when the former president Bush sent the troops there.

  • Actually culling these elephants will benefit the kruger elephant population as well as other ungulates. Culling isn't focusing on a certain group of elephants it is usually random, trying to create as little impact as possible. Contraceptives are nice but expensive and don't always work. It would be ridiculous to dart the elephants like that, it would require a lot of time funds and energy. To people who watch this research both sides both make good points. Think before you speak!

  • Cry me a river hippie.

  • it's all about profit you dumbass.

  • Quit living in a fairy tale. These animals need to be controlled. Hunting them has proven to be efective.

  • This simply must stop. Human population explodes, always needing more land, more food, more resources. Eventually, there will be no more land for animals. There are other alternatives the SA government just wants to make money. Companies are lining up to get the contracts. DO YOU WANT TO SEE THE ELEPHANTS INCLUDING INFANTS DIE? 10 million elephants in Africa 100 years ago. Under 165,000 now and declining daily due to poaching. Answer...kill some more.
