It's sort of official ... the opening sequence is actually from the Japanese version which I cut and put in with the English version. I'm not sure why the English one had a different opening tune as the Japanese one was way better :)

@cloudybitbit6 Sounds pretty official to me. 'Sides, the guitar solo DEFINITELY sounds different from the original Japanese version, meaning that this isn't a dub-over- it was re-recorded from the original Japanese soundtrack for a semi-unique sound that only the anime companies in the US of the early to mid 90's could've pulled off so nicely.
