Space Giraffe is something of an oddity on the Xbox Live market place. Created by veteran game designer Jeff Minter, it has all the zany humour and convention-defying gameplay you might expect. Love it or hate it, there's nothing else quite like it.

  • weed sold separetely.

  • The real skill and genius of Giraffe icomes from learning to read the audio and subtle movements of abscured enemies to take calculated risks for bigger rewards. It's a master-stoke of design that takes you to a mind space like no other game in history.

It's my most loved 360 title, the one I've played more than anything else the past year and inho,as close to perfect as a modern video game has ever come. And 400 points is less than latte 'n donut you tight git!

  • Best played blindfold.

  • this game is absolutely awful.

  • can somebody PLEASE tell me whats the name of the game when the intro (the same as in every other game review by Jam Enslaver) the 5th game, the one with the random boy running and shooting, the name of the game, somebody please!

  • It's fine if you didn't like the game, but recommending others not to get it is another thing entirely. Your entire dislike of the game was based on the premise that you don't know what's going on. But they key point is that YOU don't know what's going on. The game provides the player with clues for enemy and attack - it's up to the player to decipher them. It's fine if you don't enjoy that, but that gameplay element in no way detracts from the game as you seem to imply.

  • 2:39 lmao " Cube is not for yiffing"

  • this game sucks balls

  • This is a brilliant xbla game. i followed its development in jeffs column in edge magazine. jeff is a legend. He should return to Edge mag too.

  • Nice review, but I think you should have pointed out that the game trains you to LISTEN to what's happening. That addresses your concern that you don't know what is out there on the playfield...you'll learn what sound effects go with what creature. I thought this was a great game and spent maaaany happy hours at it (I'm in the top 50 on the high scores).

If you want to get *really* annoyed, try playing level 79 without taking a 5 level runup at it to build up enough lives to get through.

  • Hey, I paid for the full game!
