The 2010 Oregon ProStart Culinary Champs: Bend High from Bend, OR (2/6/10 Portland, OR)
This is video of the team right after finishing the 60-minute cooking competition at the Portland Expo in Portland Oregon. Over 20-ProStart High School teams competed with over 200 students participating. Each school had a 4-member team representing their school with one alternate in reserve. Bend High will represent Oregon at the National Restaurant Association ProStart Invitational in Overland Park, Kansas (April 30-May 2, 2010 http://pressreleases.kcstar.com/?q=node/16005 ).

And their culinary mentor, Chef Sean Baldwin, who was also selected by the Oregon Restaurant Association as their 2010 Oregon ProStart Mentor of the Year!
This will be their 6-consecutive trip nationals. Bend High has won 1st place in three of the last fours years!
