Hey, man I got a problem. When you say we gotta target Susanne, or the name of the monkey, I type it in but it doesnt accept the name. It just goes back to saying "OB". How do i fix this?

Thanks for your tutorials, I just discovered them, they're great!
There's something I don't understand: why is the lighting fixed when you circle the camera around the monkey? I'd expect to see the lighting move around, because the light follows the path of its parent, the camera... or am I missing something?

I cant get blender to let me type in the monkeys name a curvercircle in to the add constraints section

@irakrakow hey I've got a question which i can't find a tutorial for; how do I tell blender (in the game engine) that when I press the up-arrow the camera only rotates upwards to a certain point. (if it's important: I did the rotation thing by making the camera a child of an empty, which is a child to the object the camera is supposed to rotate around, I then tell the empty to rotate.)

Thanks irakrakow. What an insightful tutorial, and a helpful, relaxed, tone-of-voice. My imagination just exploded with the tremendous possibilities implied in your techniques. Just what i needed. Keep those tutorials flowing, I've only watched one from you and am hooked. Thanks.

@Digitalman271 Try SHIFT-F and then use the arrow keys to do that.

One Problem i imported a mesh and i made hair for it in blender .the hair shows when rendered however the imported mesh doesn't but the hair does i don't know why. the mesh is there but once rendered its like its invisible to the camera
neji000009 1 year ago
@neji000009 If the mesh is the emitter, then by default the hair strands will show but the mesh will not.

Hehe! I love that you pointed out the possibilities of parenting lights to the cam. It's a clever approach that I don't think a lot of people think of. Or, I might be wrong. Anyway, I'm really starting to think that if someone watched all your tuts, they'd be well on the way to being a rather advanced Blenderhead. You're like the Santa Clause of Blender! :)

@AdamEtheredge It is a fairly standard feature. It lets you take your lights to wherever the camera goes. As the Santa Claus of Blender, let me just say, Ho Ho Ho, Merrry Blender.
