Before 8am, a recovery truck arrived to recover a car that was stuck at the bottom of a small hill in icy and slushy conditions. This recovery truck loaded the car, then as it tried to get away it too became stuck. A second recovery truck came to get the first one out and also got stuck, This video starts with the second recovery truck pushing itself up the hill (after not being successful in recovering the first truck) it eventually managed to get away. The big boss came back with his 4x4 to try pull the first still stuck recovery truck out, but with little success. After clearing the road and reversing the truck around the corner and offloading the car, the recovery truck eventually got away, they then managed to drive the car out of the problem area. It was only at least 3.5 hours from the recovery truck arriving to getting the car out of where it was stuck.
I always carry shovel and chains, but if its bad advise people to park up best they can and recover later when conditions get better. In UK thats usually next day or so!

apparently no ne believes in shovels and some sand. These temps make it very slippy, but backing it down onto shoveled ground always works better.

has the driver of the car ever heard of a shovel?

Question is....why do idiot drivers put all that expensive equipment let alone peoples lives at risk calling out recovery services when they get stuck in the snow?
If the roads are that bad (or your driving skills) don't go out in it in the first place and if you do and get stuck wait for it to melt.....like this muppet had to in the end anyway.
