What I have learned, his extremely radical associations, have turned me off, not his color. I vote my conscience - I believe with MLK that we go for the character, not the color. McCain was exonerated from any wrong doing in the Keating 5 in the 80's - so was John Glenn - But the 17 radical associations Obama has and are active, are true. Sorry to disappoint you -

Where was McCains great knowledge and experience when he REFUSED to meet with the President of Spain! Spain is one of our allies and has troops on the ground with us. That is how smart McCain is. Also with so much time in Washington and so many votes that go right along side George Bush and other republicans, its hard to believe his claims that he is a "maverick". Not to mention Palin. Of course she has ZERO record of doing anything so maverick is untrue for a whole other set of reasons.

Outside of one bill McCain has supported deregulating wall street and the financial system. Do you know each and every thing behind his bill? Is it possible there was a valid reason to vote against it? Yes, of course. Just like McCain voted AGAINST troop funding because it included a timeline. You can't boil down politics to one single vote on one single bill. Bills are revised often for this very reason.

Also Obama has already addressed all the alleged "connections". Keep up with the news.

Then why was he rebuked by the Senate and forced to hand over $100,000 to the treasury? Its FACT that McCain was part of the Senators who pressured the feds to stop the investigation. Thankfully they weren't powerful enough to stop it, they just bought some time for their friend Mr. Keating.

McCain was just able to spin his way out of taking his share of the blame. The other 4 involved either left office or did not seek re-election. Just one of the many skeletons in his closet.

Germany is now the most anti-American Western European country (as in least positive about the USA in general or George Bush) if polls are to be believed yet Germany is the best liked major country (again if polls are to be believed) and best liked European country by Americans.

Indeed, and you republicans have been reckless with war as if these soldiers are expendable. George Bush's presidency is a failure on all levels. Not only will he be remembered as a worse version of Nixon, but now as it becomes clear as Hoover as well. The worst there ever was will be his title.
