Kurt Kossmann Daytona 2008 Mustang In Car 5 GS passes 2 Laps

Kossmann in the Emerald Hill #11 Ford Mustang racing at the Fresh from Florida Grand Am Koni Daytona Race January 2008. Due to an unfortunate incident between team mate Steve Kent and competitor Tom Natasi early in the first stint Kossmann starts a lap down at the 1 hour and 15 minute mark. Shown here is the in car footage with Kossmann passing 5 GS cars (and a few ST) in 2 laps at Daytona. Kossmann gained a total of 17 positions during his stint bringing the Mustang back up to a respectable 21st place out of 95 cars. Emerald Hill Motorsports will have to wait until Lime Rock to get the top finishing results that they are clearly capable of.
