My last video (to Geerup) was really dark. So to compensate, I made this one outside in 98 degree Texas heat while getting the coals ready to barbecue beef ribs. Oh! They were SO good!

@tranquillity4all......I don't know if the media ever covered the miracle or not. It's been a long time ago. I first saw him read without an eye when I was about ten years old and then much later when I was about thirty years old ( I'm 54 years old now). Many people has seen it, it's for real. I'm just telling what I've seen and I am 100 percent sure that the guy was for real. God does do miracles.

@behindeverybush1 An easy trick to duplicate. I used to live in Vegas. Lots of people did that one. Some people believe it. My own father once actually believed that Doug Henning really had magic powers. I suspect you're in the same category.

@bjzaba Apart from the one unlabeled chart -which turned out to be from New Zealand- nearly all other references include the newspaper headlines or other sources in them. Be specific. What are you looking for?

The supposedly low percentage of atheists in American federal prison is an urban legend, based on an unverified claim made by Rod Swift, who claims he got it from the Federal Bureau of Prisons even though they don't track that kind of data.

They do track that kind of data in England, and it shows that non-religious represented about 1/3 of the prison population in 2000, significantly higher then the national average. Google hosb1501.pdf

@robvlob....It certainly is likely that church attenders witnessing those magicians performing the "eye trick" would consider it a miricale from God if said magicians had given the credit to God. But here is the clincher, there are no magicians who can read a drivers license from a gapping hole in the head where an eye once was. So I still give God the credit for doing a miracle. But I will admit that there are con men taking advantage of Christians wanting to see a miricale.

If Chris Angel, David Copperfield, James Randy, David Blaine or any other well known magician accomplished this. Would you still consider it a miracle & proof of god, or accept it for what it is, an illusion?

Now presume one or more of these well know magicians had anonymity & performed these same illusions in churches in front of congregations.

Is it likely that most would credulously believe that these magicians are performing a miracle?

Citizens would take it upon themselves to be the judge jury & executioner of an individual or group of people in the USA they where predominantly black, who presumably done something to deserve death as punishment. This was practiced even as late as the 1960s sometimes with religious justifications.

A dominate group of racists known as the KKK are most often associated with such lynch mob atrocities & identify themselves as Christians.
