  • Wilson has a castle cake kit that has the towers and turets in it. They also have instructions for various castle designs. They didn't have instructions for the design I wanted, so I thought it up in my head and made the changes as I went along. It was a LOT of work. I can't say that I'll for sure do another fondant cake! I'm definitely glad I did this one though...it was for my son's 1st birthday. It may take a few birthdays before I forget the labor involved enough to attempt another! lol

  • looks great! That is an awesome cake! I am looking to use that wilson set to create a cake for my daughter's 3rd bday. How long was the process? How far in advance did you bake the cakes/store the cakes? and how did you store it? (fridge, counter, plastic wrap, foil, etc? thanx
