  • Dang you fell at the start of the vid didnt ya!?

  • @JbrRichey Ha, yea that was my buddy filming. He's got great camera sense. Kept it steady even when tripping!

  • is the aussie locker a good investment? I considering to get for my front/rear axles

  • Yea it's an awesome investment. 100% satisfied and I've had no issues with mine. It's really great for the front axle b/c you won't hardly know it's there since no torque is applied up front in 2wd. No negative handling characteristics minus some clicking. For the rear though, I would go selectable or a more well behaved locker like a No Slip or full case Detroit unless you don't drive your rig much on road.

  • nice bit of driving ,i got a detroit locker on the back of my landrover ,good bits of kit ,saving for a truetac for the front

  • Thanks man. Nice, detroit lockers are solid units. The TrueTrac works extremely well. You will enjoy it. Awesome landrover you got there! I love those. They are really classic.

  • Nice. Just installed a d30 aussie and can't wait to get out!

  • I bet your cameraman was out of breath after all that running.

  • The Aussie works great off road. It doesn't make too much noise on the street if it's in the front axle of a TJ. The only time I can hear it click and ratchet is if I'm making a sharp U-turn. Otherwise the road noise, engine, and tranny drain out any audible clicking. In 4wd when torque is applied to the front axle the aussie locks right up. I would recommend one if you don't want to spend the cash on a selectable locker.

  • hoes the aussie? does it make alot on noise on the street?
