The Terrapins set a few records in their 6th straight NCAA Women's Lacrosse National Championship. After being down at halftime 4-3, the Terrapins set a record for goals scored in a single half with 13 and tournament two time MVP Jen Adams scored 5 goals and assisted on 5 more goals for 10 points, a title game record. Adams would become only the second NCAA Women's Lacrosse Player to score 20 or more goals in the tournament as she set the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament goals scored record at 22. She would reset the record in 2001 with 26 goals and break the all NCAA Lacrosse Tournament record held by Cornell's Mike French (1977) and Tim Goldstein (1987).
