Fortresscrap's maker is an idiot, thus, the game is idotic.

And it is a ripoff, lets say i made a game called full-life, which played out exactly like half life,looked almost exactly like it and just added some shaders, how would that not be a ripoff? this is the same thing, just indie, which somehow makes it ok. The creators know that they're making a ripoff game, but they will never admit it. fortresscrap is crap.

Considering fortress craft is about 90% less expensive than Minecraft I can see how people think its a cheap knockoff but it doesn't feel like it. There both good games. I prefer Minecraft for its survival mode and I prefer fortress craft for building. I think block building games are a new genre of sandbox games so its not like there can only be one.

@MegaSonicKing I lol'd. Minecraft is in BETA and it has more to offer. Fortresscraft is a finished product, and we only have building. Minecraft you can change the textures of anything. And make them do anything. Physics obeying, or ascending up into the air.

You need to do some history on how Notch got his idea for Minecraft, although a true almost identical rip off of Mine craft is another indie game called Total Miner.

Notch was inspired by the same few games FortressCraft and Total Miner were inspired by. The games are Dwarf Fortress, RubyDung, Dungeon Keeper, and Infiniminer.

Notch's (MineCraft creator) own words "But then I found Infiniminer. My god, I realized that that was the game I wanted to do."

Kinda cool though.
