  • C'est bien de voir Haiti etait tres jolie a cette epoque. Il n'y a avait pas de Zinglindou, de Rat Pas Caca, de Lavalas, de Macoute. Tout le monde vivait en paix.

  • @GWONEG100

Effectively you are right. From Duvalier to Aristid's era, Haiti which has been known as "La Perle des Antilles", had lost his prestige, his gorgeous image, his reputartion before foreign nations. The polilitical upheaveals, emerging within this period and even before the earthquake, have spawned an ecconomic depression at a higher and critical which indicates that Haiti becomes the poorest country in the western hemisphere.

  • Riche documentaire!

  • From 17:53 Nice amazing dancing party at the Haitian Palace! Wow!!! Anyone could be impressed to see the huge difference between today's life and before. They were all enjoying the party...

  • Obviously, this clip video enhances the great value of our Haitian musical culture, which is lavishly nourished by our past musical composers such as Issa Saieh, Guy Durosier, Martha Jean Claude, Lemour Jean Baptiste and all others, who are, somehow, the pioneers inspiring the current and the forthcoming musical generation.

Good to see how our music influenced foreigners, such as Celia Cruz and other latinos, in a pathway where they were even singing in our awesome haitian creole.

  • Deemed as a masterwork, these images ought to be shown to our offspring born ashore or offshore and could be thought of the valuable contribution that these musicians brought to the traditional haitian music. I am personally feeling grateful for all of you guys, specially Teleimage and all of those who have spent times in their research to relocate this old video broacasting hatian cultural to all of us who perhaps ignored our past history. Great to see Haiti was like New York in 1930s to 1950
