A 150 second film on Oasis India's work to provide a centre for missing children and women.

When Molly left home she knew no-one and had no money. At one of Mumbai's large railway stations she met a lady who took her to a beauty parlour and treated her to a makeover, before selling her to a brothel. Molly was twice rescued in police raids but, unwilling to talk about her traffckers, she lied that she was over 18 and was released, only to be trafficked again. The third time she was rescued, Molly cooperated with the police and was safely returned home.

Every year in India, Nepal and Bangladesh, tens of thousands of women and children are reported missing. Their governments, overwhelmed by terrorism and crossborder tensions, see finding them as a low priority. Traffickers and kidnappers use their own excellent cross-border networks to sell children and women as sex slaves or bonded labourers to brothels and sweatshops. Oasis India will launch an innovative programme, working with police and others, to re-unite parents with their missing children and rescue those who have been trafficked.
