I'm using shredded paper to build a 12 inch thick super insulated wall. 2 x 4 studs and plywood are used as temporary forms. Once the paper adobe is stuffed into the form work and dries, the forms are removed. I'll cover the wall with a cob plaster in the near future.

thanks mom. I'll try to post more video as I go. The only problem I've had so far, is getting enough shredded paper to keep ahead of construction.

  • Pretty darn awesome! I'd love to see you build the wall with it - I hope you videotaped that :) I have so much shredded paper this is a new use I had not thought of, there's only so much one can put in a compost bin. Thanks for the tips! More! More! :)
