I'm only 13 and i have a 67 chevy stock 283 smallblock and right now i'm in the process of looking for a dana 60 for taller gears. xD

@ScoutD300, yep dont have those...lol, still seems like everyone wants it though, i have yet to see a 609, i know they are tough and nice to work on...hence the 9 inch centers.

Im almost afraid to leave my 78 ford in parked in public to long, its got the dana 60 in the front and every now and then some one comes up asking us if we ever do offroading, we say no, then they try to trade us a heavy 44 for it, NO WAY. Im afraid some one is going to steel it...lol

@NathansBackwoods yep 78 79 is the year to have in stock form. The 609 axle is the more where most are going in off road. That's Dana 60 outers and Ford 9" center section.

Me too LOL I was in a hurry to get it together and did not make a slide show of the assy. I used the Mad4wd outer axle seals to help keep the mud out.
