loved the hyperion series, loved the terror and i'm diggin the Drood!

He's accepted as one of the greatest space opera writers ever, too bad he often came across unsympathetic to me. He dismisses Dickens, Hemingway, Tolkien (and the latter not in an engaging way but just plain out dimisses him), and probably most every other writer he ever happened to mention.

Hyperion Cantos is the best book I have ever read. Especially the Fall of Hyperion!

I have now. Thanks for the references. Gotta say, I still prefer the Hyperion series, but it's good to read some different authors. I've read Altered Carbon and Fallen Angels now. I'll finish up the series in a week or two. Let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Be sure to read the Hyperion series. That is the absolute best sci-fi series I have ever read, and I've read quite a few.

I love this author. My life is diferent since I read Hyperion saga. Thank´s for this video. By the way, somebody know the rumors about Hyperion movie? Any way... Simmons eres genial, realmente genial.
