This is my review video of the Dell Studio XPS 7100, a desktop PC from Dell. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and is powered by an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T. This is AMD's six-core CPU, running at 2.8 Ghz with a turbo boost up to 3.3 Ghz. This particular configuration of the XPS 7100 also includes an ATI Radeon HD 5450 with 1 GB of RAM. It has a 750 GB 7200 RPM hard drive, a Blu-ray reader/CD/DVD burner, 6 GB of DDR3 RAM, memory card slots, and gigabit Ethernet.

  • Is there a warranty sticker inside or anywhere on the case? Normally on the desktops I've had in the past they are on the outside. Are they attatched inside to where I can't see it? I don't want to ruin my warranty.

  • @JEBell96 I don't think so - I didn't have any issues opening up the case.

  • how do you open the cover ? i want to upgrade my graphics card P.S Any sugesstions on graphics card?? thanks :)

  • @triner157 You mean the case itself? I think there were one or two thumbscrews on the back that you take off, then the side of the case comes up. In terms of which graphics card, that depends on budget - but don't go too crazy or you'll need a bigger power supply. :-)

  • If I get an AMD Phenom x6 1055t with ATI Radeon 6670, Will I be able to get 125 - 250 FPS max settings?

  • @TheSandyNub It's all dependant on resolution. If you want to game at 800 x 600 you can probably get 500fps. ;-)

  • @dtapia92 That would kill BF3. I think it will run it at about High settings at about 40-50 FPS!

  • @PCextras I play team fortress 2 on max settings and I get over 40 fps. My computer is a $300 Dell Inspiron 620s.

    The specs are:

Intel Pentium Daul Core 2.60 Ghz Processor

    4 Gbs of ram

500 gb of hard drive space

and the sucky Intel HD 2000 graphics

  • I have this comp, 6core 8gb 460w power.. Has AMD Radeon™ HD 6770 not 5450.... I want To upgrade the 6770 and i dont know what to get. looking for 100-150$ any ideas?

  • This is a great pc, even for gaming. I play team fortress2 on almost max setting with 35 fps, but if you want a newer bigger game, you gotta get a better graphics card.

  • Do you know if its good for recording and editing videos into 720p?

  • I think building a pc would be better

  • @dtapia92 definetly
