تو نه چنانی که منم

Rumi Poetry sang by Iranian singer Dariush.

the great Rumi declares:

"I am the servant of the Qur'an as long as I have life. I am the dust on the path of Mohammad, the Chosen one. If anyone quotes anything except this from my sayings, I am quit of him and outraged by these words."

Respect.

  • Listen to Rumi. Did he say I am Turkish? Or Persian? Why do we involve ourselves in these speculations when all that Rumi loved was the Divine, that knows no boundaries of country or language or culture. His poetry takes us beyond all that.

  • THERE IS ONLY ONE RELIGION , THE RELIGION OF LOVE

ONE LANGUAGE ,THE LANGUAGE OF HEART

COUNTRIES ARE MANY ,WORLD IS ONE

STARS ARE MANY ,SKY IS ONE

CASTS ARE MANY HUMANITY IS ONE

WE NEED TO GO BEYOND CAST,CREED,NATIONALITY AND RELIGION

IN ORDER TO FIND THE ONE WHO IS THE ESSENCE OF EVERYTHING

GOD IS LOVE ,LIVE IN LOVE

  • @AFGHANBULLZ sorry but you should read more on Rumi, Balkh is a Persian word and there is no afghanistan in his time, it is called Khorosan and they are Persians, Afghan means Pashton which are nomadic tribes not Persians... Rumi's father was a governor in a city closer to modern day Tajikistan.... A Persian/Iranian governer appointed to the region

    RUMI AFGHAN POEM

  • I belong to the beloved, have seen the two

worlds as one and that one call to and know,

first, last, outer, inner, only that

    breath breathing human being.

    From Essential Rumi

  • Only Breath Not Christian or Jew or Muslim, not Hindu Buddhist, sufi, or zen. Not any religion or cultural system. I am not from the East or the West, not out of the ocean or up from the ground, not natural or ethereal, not composed of elements at all. I do not exist, am not an entity in this world or in the next, did not descend from Adam and Eve or any origin story. My place is placeless, a trace of the traceless. Neither body or soul.
