@cmomofilm Not to mention, a band isn't a mark of maturity. You can simply have eclectic tastes. You know, people who like Nirvana, Mike Patton, the blues, folk, classical music, ragtime, jazz, etc do exist. Bill Hicks was brilliant, one of the best of his craft. Kurt Cobain could take a handful of power chords and forge a distinct melody that you could sing along with and break shit to at the same time. You don't have to like him to recognize that as the mark of a capable songwriter.

@cmomofilm Fuck you, man. Not everyone who likes a (popular) band buys into the life style, "meaning", or legacy of it's frontman, nor do they have to go around saying they "get it" or can "relate to what they're preaching, MAAAAN", they simply enjoy the music as an individual.

Although I think Bill might not have enjoyed Kurt's music, I think that if Bill had kids and they liked Nirvana Bill would be happy, since Kurt is the definition of "playing from your fucking heart."
