  • @djgeojoe Hmm i dont mean to be mean or sassy, but ive heard about these heat problems with the car and i havent had any with the 5400kv or 9000kv and battery combo! I did pre loosen the belt a little and it runs very very smoothly, so maybe theres my solution...I also set my pinion and spur a little father (like barely any at all) apart so it runs smoother and easier. and my slipper isnt as tight so i dont have as much torgue when im doing speed runs down my street :) and only 5400 for racing!

  • @skittles1132 Great Idea, I am going to try this with my savage flux, last time I got snow packed down on the mamba monster and I started to freak good think I have an air compressor in the garage. Someone told me to use liquid electrical tape on the ESC, not sure I want to do that.

  • @skittles1132 Smoke? Yes, yours will smoke, and while you are sitting on the curb blowing on your 9000kv motor that is smoking after 4 speed runs, I will still be having fun going places where you cannot. Have fun on the asphalt, tarmac boy j/k LOL! I am not going for crowd pleaser on this one; bashing and no overheating is what I am after, anything over 7000kV is not going to hold up temp wise in this class. 3S on that 9000kv is going to melt it if you so much as look at dirt and grass ;)

  • @djgeojoe HAHA! lets see, im thinking now since my car has the new 9000kv motor and a 1800 mah lipo battery that my car will smoke yours! :) and yeah i rewired the car so the wires arent as messy! and the body is painted blackish gray with red and white flames, just a fun theme...i will soon paint a new body that will match my b44! (white, orange, blue, black, and red!) :)
