Yeah true but it's not like he was born with a million in his bank and then is singing about being poor. He's tasted poverty and you can't blame him for making money. And besides he's telling a story. I'm sure J. K. Rowling isn't a wizard but she can still write about them. That was kind of a tenuous connection but he's not actually singing about himself, he's singing about the economy and I think it's encouraging that a man of his wealth can remain connected to such problems. Shoot, at first listen I thought "hmmm....is this really a great album", but after lisening to it for a year or so.... G'damn, what a great album it is!! Thank God he's not trying in any way to copy his past (like making Born in the USA pt II). Bruce is his own man, and he certainly do what HE wants....and that's a good thing!!! Btw, I've grown to love his last record! It's amazingly GREAT!
