  • How big are the Caps, uFs? and which ones, C-?

  • I have the same model tv and mine just went last night. I came home from work turned it on it was fine, but then it shut off and turned on out of no where repeatedly by itself and continued to do so till i heard a loud pop and then it just kept turning on and off over and over again and it wont stop. No picture shows up it just quickly turns on and off over and over again. I took the tv apart and i see only one blown capacitor on the psu im going to replace it and see if it works after that.

  • common issue is quite an understatement.

LG and Samsung are notorious for using crappy quality capacitors to make the device fail after about 2 years (warranty period) so the customers just go and buy new TVs or whatever.

i fixed shitloads of Samsung and LG LCD Monitors.. 95% of the time it's just crappy SamWha or Sam Young caps..

oh and btw... radioshack doesn't sell any Low ESR caps needed for those.

better look on digikey or rs-components.

standard grade caps will work, but not for long..
