@tassay The game tree compaxity of chess is dwarfed by go. The number of possible games in go, considering ko's are virtually limitless, where as in chess, they've alread created programs and algorythyms that can beat the best players. They're even closing down on a complete solution for the game of chess. While a complete solution is inevitable fot go as well, it's still years away.

i think you have neer played chess on a high level. both games are much to komplex to callculate so each of the games is as interisting al your oponent and you make it.

If Go was made known as Igo in America (to avoid confusion on Go equipment sites), they produced more sets, they popularize it with Hikaru no Go, they have actual televised tournaments (or YouTube tournaments), and if much more Igo clubs were formed at schools nationwide, then perhaps my local Borders wouldn't have one book on Go as opposed to shelves upon shelves of @#$^%^ CHESS BOOKS!!!!
...Oh, and I suppose Go would be more popular in the U.S. too, I guess...
