I remember playing this one with my brother Ryuji when we were young. It was a must for our weekends at the arcadee, until we managed to clear it. On top of it, the fact that you had to beat it with one credit added to the challenge and the feeling of accomplishment. I remember 1CC-ing both this one and Midnight Wanderers, another awesome Capcom game.

This is the difficulty I rememeber it having! I saw another video tonight where a guy was beating all the bosses in almost one hit! I take it this started as an arcade game and it was more popular than the SNES version? Sorry if its a stupid question but I always thought it was SNES only!

One of my fav beat-em-ups this one. Gildiss is extremely cheap in the rom version i have, he has a flame sweep that hits you anywhere on the screen and is almost impossible to avoid. :( I can just about beat the game with the cleric, but i'm usually down to my last life when i do.

Is this a different version than the SNES one? Because it looks somewhat better but the last boss hasn't got the same music as in the SNES version.

Rofl, I remember playing this game i 3rd grade with my friend Trevor. We beat it as well. Oh how the games have changed.
