  • Our highschool did this for our fall play, and Im sorry but this is horendous. Their are way too many unessacary beats. The screaming is so emotionless. And why does everyone stutter over their words? There could have been SO much more emotion in this, when we performed, we made people cry. That's how powerful it is.

  • wheres the rest of the play

  • oh god i hate abgail. not the actress. the character.

  • Uhm, where's Act II Scene 2? :)

  • If they got the script the day before the performance, then they did an amazing job, what with the need to "block" the play properly. I've acted in this one (as Judge Hathorne), and was amazed at how much time our director spent on making sure everyone moved correctly from one part of the stage to another. But the finished product was worth it!

If it seems they talk fast, just remember that they are kids. No offense meant.

  • thats ridiculous...they talk way too fast and its horrible....no emotion..i feel like they got their script like the day before the performance...

  • john proctor needs to become super saiyan when he says "I say.. God is dead!"

  • In all the videos I've seen, the girl playing Mary in this did the best job. She had a really strong character and portrayed her very well.

But the bad acting (i.e. Dead Proctor and emotionless girls) in other areas made this scene slow and took away all of the energy, not what you want for perhaps the biggest scene in this entire play.

  • @TheSaxChick

This is Act 3 depending on the script you look at. The one that my school did was divided like this video: two acts, scenes within them. My textbook when I read it in school said it was Act 3. Just depends on what script you have. ;3

  • nooooooooooooo emotion Proctor....

  • @TesseractDigital

Ive had no voice since my last show sunday afternoon. Took a real toll, haha.

  • @shelbyxslaughter STFU it was fine
