a purring dog :) now that's a youtube sensation right there. but yeah, hopefully i'm wrong and the dog never poses a threat to any human... don't know what it is about husky's but their eyes always seem so cold to me. they always seem distant, like they hate us. but that's just an opinion from someone who's never been around a husky for more than a minute. so i could be very wrong about them. malamutes and akitas seem to be more friendly in general from what i can see. still a nice video tho :)

I can understand your concern, but what she was doing wasn't growling. I own a husky myself, and he makes that noise all the time when he's playful or happy or just wanting to "talk". I've always called it him purring. It's just a husky thing, and if she was growling at the baby I don't think the mom would have continued to laugh and record it.

okay i may have exaggerated - the dog didn't "go" for the baby. but i still think he's competing for attention. and call me stupid but an animal that competes with a baby frightens me a bit. I'd just be worried is all. i mean the dog is lovely, but it's still an animal and when the camera focuses in on the daughter u see the dogs dark side as he growls and walks in front of the baby to be in the camera again. i really hope im wrong and that the dog now protects the daughter.
