This is the overview of my new Honda Elite scooter. It is a 108cc fuel injected & liquid cooled "two up" scooter. Bear with me in talking & holding a video camera, hopefully you'll enjoy seeing what this new scoot has to offer.

  • What do you think about the SYM HD 125cc water cooled and ceramic coated cylinder?

  • @verizonphoner

I'm not familar with the 125 version but only have nice things to say about the larger HD 200, I have friends that ride them. They are well put together but parts and service are a question mark now in the US, so their future is uncertain?

  • What do you say? This, or the Honda PCX??

  • @BradSD25

They are both excellent scoots. It is more of a style preference. The PCX will be a little faster, around 60mph but everything else is pretty even. They are both too small for highway use so it comes down to a traditional look vs a maxi scooter type look. You won't go wrong with either one.

  • This might be the ideal urban scoot, if you live in an area with good roads. Obviously it'd also be great for a college campus. Thanks for posting!

  • You're right about the peg next to the ignition cover used to close it without the key, it took me a few times before I realized it. I hope you do get one because it doesn't disappoint. Over 50mph, 100mpg and plenty of storage and passenger room, whats not to like :)

  • How much did you end up paying for it? Great video by the way. I am looking into buying a Vespa or Ruckus but the Elite did catch my attention and online they run up to 3gs.

  • Update: Honda still has not contacted me. They refused to fix the scooter under warranty. A friend of mine fixed my scooter by replacing a bent valve. The cost, $45.00 part. The cost Central Florida Powersports, Inc in Kissimmee wanted to charge to fix it... $1,000. The scooter had 770 miles on it when it failed. 1-866-784-1870 Honda Motorcycle Div. refused to cover the warranty for this customer. Buyers Beware!

The Reflex is a 250cc scooter that Honda sold from 2001-2008. Resembles a smaller version of the Silverwing, Honda's largest scoot at 600cc. It will do 80mph and get 75mpg. The Honda CBR 250r is very nice, our local dealer is selling them faster than they can get them in. There is even a waiting list. Best of luck and be careful with it.

The Elite 110 can hold a full face helmet & a 3/4 helmet or a lot of smaller items, its storage is the entire length of its seat, since the gas tank is under the floorboards. The tank holds 1.6 gallons and we averaged 100-105mpg with it. I also have an SH150i and I love it as well. My wife took over the SH150, we sold the Elite and I just got a 250cc Honda Reflex Sport. The Elite is an awesome scoot, just after 2 yrs we wanted more power for higher speed limit roads.

  • To small for a 6'1 210lb person?

  • @russty36 After 3 weeks, I finally gave up. Honda did not honor the warranty which I paid for. No one from Honda even cared to call me to help fix the scooter. The dealer wanted to charge me $900+ for a scooter that is only 7 weeks old when it failed to start. See my video and read my commentary which began June 6th when I made the video..... currently, my scooter is torn apart and in my possession. Worthless at the moment. I paid $350 for HondaCare Protection and that too is worthless...

  • @strkngfang great call!!
