You know exactly what you are talking about. As much as you show some informaion here, and you have studied so far (and just coming with a bad version, not the good one), you must have also made some conclusions from your readings. It is not true that you had only access to the negative propaganda. It's like getting a banknote in the hand withoiut checking both sides!

i have a question> is it true that this guy's secret police Savak (equivalent to current revolutionary gaurds) tortured, exiled and killed his opponents? Is it true that he gave Bahrain to Arabs? Is it true that he was a puppet of the west and sold Iran's oil to them with the cheapest price? I dont know, I've just heard these and I wanted to verify
