Magician Interview with DEAN DILL (Part 1 of 2)

Magician Dean Dill granted an interview to Reel Magic Magazine (TV for Magicians) in August of 2008,
and in this interview, Dean Dill puts his interviewer in the Barber chair, and proceeds to tell us how he got started in magic.... while giving a haircut! Dean also tells us how he met Johnny Carson for the first time, how he befriended Johnny and his wife, taught Johnny magic tricks, and how he eventually performed on THE TONIGHT SHOW.
Dean's shop is a unique Barber shop for magicians located in Glendale, California, Dean is a Magicians Magician, he is very well known at the nearby Hollywood Magic Castle, and has had some very famous magic names sit in his barber chair. After a haircut, it is usually off to the close up table afterwards for some magic tricks. being a drummer, I was recording this carson show and recorded Dean Dill 's performance. i was completely fascinated with it, and watched Dean's performance many more times then I watched Louie Bellson's performance. Watching this video and hearing the story behind it is beyond awesome for me, being it that I recorded his performance and watched it so many times some 20+ years ago
