Hey guys, I'm Jager Weatherby from Wetpaint Entertainment, and we've seen a lot of sad things in our lives, but few things compare to watching Cameron Mitchell voluntarily take himself out of the running on The Glee Project. Talk about tear-worthy!

So what has Cameron — who won Oxygen's "Fan Favorite" poll — been doing since throwing in the towel? His main focus has been on promoting his new album... an EP titled Love Can Wait, which he recorded in his friend's bedroom. And even though we live in a world where Rebecca Black can score a record deal and not Cameron, he's doing just fine without a label, thankyouverymuch. His album reached #9 on the Billboard Heat-Seekers chart for new artists!

As far as his personal life is concerned, you can take a deep breath in knowing that everyone's favorite bromance is still intact. Yes, he and his bestie Damian are as tight as ever. In fact, they both hung out at the premiere of Glee: The 3D Concert Movie. The mental image of Cameron and Damian sitting side-by-side in goofy 3D glasses is just about the most precious thing ever.

Now for the bad news — Cameron's still with his girlfriend, the annoyingly cute and talented singer-songwriter Macy Maloy. She's practically perfect, so obviously we resent her to an unreasonable degree.
