looks like these are all a personal view and the vent by those who have become victims of this offshoring or whatever you call it. as far as i know the corporates will never stop looking at making that extra bucks by juggling the work be it offshoring or it can be somewhere where they can get the job done by paying less.. and its all that matters for them... all the rest around it is what we are talking now... tomorrow they find some other alternative.. they will do it.

Wipro/InfoSys == built on a giant Indian congame. They charge U.S. companies tons of $ but no products ever come out of it - just failed projects that have to be brought back to U.S. so Americans can clean them up.

Also I sympathise if you lost your job to outsourcing. But business world has little no morals or values for individuals. The west has worked that way for years, and now you have a new reason to find out that it was always that way that is all. Don't be sarcastic about other countries which are disadvantaged and much poorer than you are, every dog has its day. Nobody from India took your job personally, your company did that to you and possibly the corporate culture that supports selfishness.

Hello, please dont' generalise, what do you mean 'you lot?', you are talking of lakhs of people and a work culture you probably know nothing about. I don't know about UK work culture to comment on it. BTW did you consider how much this company is paying wipro for the call center you mentioned? The quality they get is proportional to $, I would blame thos who pay them, not Wipro.
