  • God bless you so much for this video Diane. You don't know how much you add to people's lives by posting these piano lessons. You are a very good teacher. I am learning so much from your video. Please what do i need to do to get the circus music Duet you played in the first and second lessons? I am trying to play it along with you but its been a little difficult. When playing the duet, are both hands going to be playing the same thing? Thanks for your help

  • Dear accountebu,

I'm so happy you are benefiting from this video lesson :) I want to upload so many more but time is such a constraint here. Some day I do want to upload the two hand accompaniment - I just need to find some more time!

    Love,

    Di

  • Man, less than 2 minutes into the video and I'm already thinking that this is really helpful. o.O`` I'm a musician myself, I play everything from classical to baroque to dance music, but can't read notes to save my life. I'll have to come back to this and check out the other videos. :)

  • Dear Carla/carlarosie,

It's so nice to hear from you! Please pray that I get the time to upload the *real* piano lessons that you and everyone need to really learn to read music and play the piano well. It's all in my head and I want so badly to bring you all step by step to becoming proficient at the piano. I teach about 60 private students per week so it's hard to find the time I need for my youtube family...but I want to help!

    Love,

    Di

  • Dear Diane,

You are an angel and a prayer answered. I am 57 years old and have become inspired to play the piano as therapy for depression and can't afford a piano teacher. Thank you for your informative, educational, encouraging and inspirational videos! Really, I can't thank you enough!

    Love,

    Carla

  • You have great videos. They are also fun to follow. :)
