Not heard about the hoard! Thing is, any big signals I get I usually discard as poles or pipes and other big junk!

yes you did, was there but did not find anything only a musket ball...was a good turn out...did you see the gold broch worth £2500?

I heard about it, but it was gone when I went back to the finds table.
I didn't find much, an 1840 silver sixpence was the best of my finds. I expected the land to have more roman finds being so close to the road, ahh well, there's always next time.
