@JJorgeBlanco Hasegawa has 30 like Gonzalez but he should get back to bantam or at least super bantamweight, to get another title shot. He was outpointing Montiel easy until he get caught with a lucky punch

Stoppage was not bad IMO. Hozumi was on wobbly legs and was out of it when he got up. More damage would have been done had the fight gone on.

Gonzalez is an interesting dude...chin isnt that great, but he has a lot of power behind his punches; its either he KOs his opponent or his opponent KO's him, lol. One of my favorite fighters ATM despite that though. Hes on a pretty decent KO streak right now, hope he gets another big fight sometime in the future, maybe against Gamboa, Mikey Garcia, Salido, Juanma and the like

I don't have a problem with the stoppage. Hasegawa is old and long past his prime. Judging by his facial expression and body language, it doesn't look like he wants to continue in his career.

Even though Hasegawa is old and should have retired, it was a great mental win for Jhonny. Notice how happy Jhonny is when he wins this. He never celebrates like that. Hasegawa has been boxing since the 90s and dethroned Veeraphol Sahaprom back when the guy was unbeatable. He was probably one of the all time greats of this division. I think this win really rejuvenated Jhonny's confidence after that shocking outing against Nisioka

I'm Mexican, and i am partial to mexican fighters, but this was a very bad stoppage. They are both great fighters, Hasegawa deserved a chance to come back, could of offered boxing fans a good entertaining fight.

Quick stoppage, but i think the result would have been the same. Gonzalez was moving him everytime he connected, clear difference in power.
