A loving film tribute to Russian filmmaker Larisa Shepitko, who died tragically in a car accident in 1979 at the age of 40. This documentary by her husband, Elem Klimov, includes excerpts from all of Shepitko's films, and her own voice is heard talking about her life and art.

An analysis of the sociopolitical commentary of "Wings" was a huge part of my Master's project, and this posting was tremendously helpful in enhancing that paper. So thank you! i have searched for this film for years and years. Thank you for sharing this as I only saw the original broadcast shortly after she had died. Magical memories indeed.
