  • Even if Cochlear implants improve to be on a level plane with human hearing (which will take at least 10 years), They cannot repair all type's of hearing loss.

  • ASL is going to die a sudden death once cochlear implants get good enough

    no one will really care.

  • i am not deaf but id rather sign then speak. I do plan to become and interpretor how ever theres only one school where i live that has an asl program and its all the way on the other side of the island (oahu, HI). Plus my best friend tried to move down here with me (and shes deaf) and it was soo hard to find a school or work for that matter. I hope to be part of the change. I hope to never let ASL die. i teach it to my family, friend, and will teach it to my daughter.

  • thanks good job! 5/5!

I think Hearing world are almost destroy NAD. Do you know why?

  • i used to go to deaf school but it closed

so i had to go mainstream school

    im fully agreed with you

  • agreed

  • Me too save the deaf!

  • I am NOT Deaf but I love ASL SAVE MY MAJOR!
