Wasting Your Tax Dollars pt 1

A billion dollar corporation called Valleycrest Landscape was contracted by our government to "beautify" sections of the hyw in central FL. If this infuriates you as much as me, please rate and comment this vid. Also, keep an eye open on your roads and see if you spot red trucks with Valleycrest on them doing unnescessary work in your area and let us know. I hope to put a stop to this wasting of our tax money.

well you know what, the beauty of the area is also of value.

Plants are good too, its important to the ENVIRONMENT which is an important part of where our tax dollars go.

i still get your point about struggling and government spending but its not like its a total waste, they were just trying to beautfy,,

@icepincess If I had time I would re-film this area for you. It looks like crap!. It has not been kept up, it's full of weeds and overgrown, as I knew it would be in time. And as far as plants go, yes, plants ARE important, put food plants in the schools instead of feeding them garbage. This project was done solely for profit.

I can see your point but I think this is what separates Florida from many other states with not so much beauty of nature. I'd rather see my tax dollar going to beautifying my homestate than not seeing it at all. it makes me feel proud to be a Floridian.

Notice the plants on the left, all over grown now with weeds and unkept. This was some of their handywork a few years ago. I see wasted taxes because soon those new sections will look like a weeded mess, too. Let me ask you, if you can't put food on the table...are you going to buy an expensive floral centerpiece for the middle of your table?
