These pictures were taken in the summer of 1998 and this is how the truck looked when it was completed, and I decided to post the pictures that were taken then. Much of the equipment is a little older as you can see, and the 3/4 stuff we didn't use but it filled in the empty rack space for pictures as you can see. I rent most of the tape machines as needed depending on what the client needs, and it is cheaper for me to do so.

For the ones who want to know what kind of switcher it had at the time, and most professionals always want to know that one. It's a Grass Valley 1600 1A 1L, but most of the gear has been updated. It took about a year to build from the time I found the truck I wanted to build, and it was all done from scratch. It didn't look anything like what you see here, and it wasn't a production truck when I bought it. I did everything from the racks to gear, and a little cosmetic work on the outside as well.

It's like a hotel on wheels, but no bathroom. If you look to the right you will see a small refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and yes a video monitor you can look at as you poor your drink so you don't miss a thing. The curtains were custom made by my mother Charlotte Burell, and as you can see are very nice. Thank you mom! It has a nice client area, and the control room with client area is about 19ft and the truck is 24ft. It has a Onan 4k generator on board. Thanks to all that made it come true.

This 24ft truck came to be from a few close friends, (First) Gary Kelly, Drew Kraus of CNN Atlanta, Ga. Joe LoRe', you can see Joe Lore' at (www.z47.org/joetv.html) Allen Lore', Jimmy Carver, Ken Weaver, Terry Fitzpatrick (acameracrew.com) here in Atlanta. So if if you need one of the best, and can pay his rate contact him at the website I have given you. Best audio guy out there, and a great DP, and editor.

I started AMP in June 1998, and never looked back. The name of this truck is (Laurachelle1), and the ENG truck is (Laurachelle2). She is the love of my life, and without her most of all none of this would have ever been possible. She made me believe anything was possible if I just believed in it, and so here it is. Thank you Laura!!!

P.S. I shot this video of pictures I had with my Sony Mini-DV that doesn't have a safe area in the viewfinder, and so it is what it is. My professional gear looks much better, (Ikegami) lol. and it pays!!
