  • does it have to be an ipod or does any mp3-player work on it too?

  • hey guys! I was wondering, can this pedal ysed like a common pedalbord, meaning, 1 preset stored in each one of these 3 knobs

    thank you

  • does it work on some kind of phase?

  • I've just ordered the voicelive play GTX, without really knowing what it is capable of. My aim is to connect my guitar to this unit thru on to my Boss Gt-10 and then to my stereo power guitar amp, I'll be using the FX of the GT-10 for my guitar and the FX of the GTX for my voice (the GTX of course connected also to a mixer) this way the GTX'll recognize my guitar chords which I'd like to use for the harmonies created, don't know if they are as good as on voicelive 2 though?

  • Does the TC Helicon VoiceLive Rack have voice cancellation?

  • Thanks, I definitely will be picking up one of these. When will they be available?

  • VoiceLive Play is designed to cover all the basic needs - and then some - for singers today. Should you require more than that, e.g. the ability to do advanced looping w/ shots technique, or have more connections to your setup, or access to advanced editing features, then you might want to look at VoiceLive Touch, or VoiceLive 2.

  • @skyjuice1969 the main difference is one of control, connectivity and looping. With VoiceLive Touch you have a more options, which makes it more "pro" than VoiceLive Play, but depending on what your needs are and what you plan to use the units for, neither are "better" than the other. Both have the same high-quality harmony effects, delays, reverbs, adpative tone, etc. that TC-Helicon is famed for - and the sound quality is the same.

  • @RaverWild nothing that intricate. The Vocal Cancel feature is frequency based (as you know the human voice covers a certain spectrum), so in that respect it is similar to how these things normally work - but it has been finely tuned and the way it delivers the final mix, you don't feel the sound of the original recording to be all "boxy" and weird. Obviously, there is a sonic difference, but it's not as heavy-handed as other vocal cancel features you might have experienced before.
