We have to remember that foreign policy is the area in which the Commander in Chief has the most direct control, and can't just blame things on Congressional stand stills. So if you're running for President, foreign policy, is a big one. Too bad for Mitt Romney, he has no record on it. But this week, he embarks on a 3 country trip abroad where he'll visit England, Israel and Poland. Alyona tries to get a better grasp on Romney's Foreign Policy stances with Michael Hastings, Rolling Stone contributing editor and author.

Romneys foreign policy is whatever he's told his foreign policy is.

jksonny: the biggest threat to America is idiocy and it is internal (and you if you are even remotely serious in the shit you just crapped out of your fingers).

As for Bolton, the guy is up there with Bachmann, in the highest spheres of Lalaland.

You couldn't have said it any better. Our leaders seem to view these fine people as pieces of plastic on a gameboard. The majority of the USA is against further agression in the Middle East, but the corrupt politicians will do anything just for their own benefit.

I'll tell you something: The war in Iran wouldn't be for nothing...all it would be is for corporations to get a lot of money and create another puppet state. Otherwise, if you are talking about the people, you are largely against a war in Iran, then I couldn't agree with you more. It would be for nothing....

And Paul is a mixed bag. Some things I like about him; other things I don't.

I never bought into the whole Obama craze. I mean, you just look at his backers. And plus nobody gets to that position without being a part of the system.

Obama wasn't outside the system. So, hope and fundamental change was a mirage.

I mean, politicians appeal to voters from the so-called left. And govern from the right. Right meaning: placate corporations.

And corporations are merely serving their own interests.

I believed in Obama, I remember staying up thinking if I was American I would have voted for him and to see him win gave me goosebumps stupidly thinking "this guys going to change everything" but NO, went back on nearly every promise. Ron Paul shouldn't be president simply for the fact he wouldn't last long, the last two presidents to go after the fed where Lincoln and JFK and it didn't end well for them.

    Corporations control the government.

Senator Dick Durbin said: the banks own this place. (Referring to the Senate.) I mean, everyone has condemned the takeover of government by corporations. From the left to right-wing libertarians.

That's what was so disheartening about Obama. People actually believed he was going to change things.

But he was financed/funded by banks, insurance companies etc.

    Obama is a corporate democrat.

There are exceptions. Like Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul.
