  • what vga do you use? after watched this video, buying tesla is useless.

  • @Arypramudito gtx series is the best choice

  • "many shaders not support yet" true

GI unsupported ? why u dont turn on

    Reflection ?

Production equality rules always. end no ram limitation...

But why U compare Ur Q4000 vs Ur fast 2cpu.

Geforce 460 have hardware raytracing end 336 cuda core faster that U have on Quadro end 80 more.

GF 460 cost 500zł that stel no compare too Ur 2 cpu for 7200zł (mobo 2500zł?)

U compare ferrari to Fiat 126P

U must compare 6x fermi 480 to Ur cpu that be good compare.

  • @666Azmodan666 I've tried gtx580, the result still sucks too, if u want to get same quality with cpu, then u need waiting 1min more, again which one u actual need?

  • You can't compare irradiance map + light cache render to a Progressive Path Tracer. For a true comparison, use DMC (brute force) for the software render.

  • 24 core CPU??? WOW!

  • @Arypramudito Hi, as I understand, vray 2.0 rt will not distribute the job to both cpu and gpu. Thus with gpu rendering on q4000 could not be compariable to dual xeon. On the contrast, iray do. you can search BOXX XTREME 8550 test drive on youtube.

  • @charlesp5912 thank you, dude!

  • @tensun3d This is totally correct, mate ;) GPU rendering is just still not there yet.

  • go buy and Octane render licence.. help them become a vray competitor - then you will see vray rising up with their new and improved gpu rendering engine.. octane is about 100 euro.. and how much is vray - vray's RT engine is still not even near to octane beta's performace - i would say vray RT is in constant "test mode", I can't run it on my computer with GPU support on - so there is no use until you try a software which is more close to completion, and it is still new technology..

  • You should compare with the latest nvidia fermi. 24 cores cpu vs game videocards isnt the best comparison...

  • @tensun3d
