I was born with a ptosis and insecurity got the best of me, since I thought I was all alone in being this hideous but having seen Tegan with ptosis, she at least isn't hideous. There should be, like, a ptosis awareness month where they only show Forest Whitaker movies on TV and Tegan & Sara and Thom Yorke songs on the radio. Granted, if such a thing existed when I was young, I would've been too self-involved to have noticed, really, but still, it might help someone.
