There's only about 20% of gamers using winXP, via the steam software survey. I do agree that openGL is superior, but this guy used someone elses article at the beginning. Then he let his own bias show he's a douche about it.

Only 360 and PC use Direct X because Direct X belongs to Microsoft. Mac, PS3, Wii all use OpenGL and EVERY console is based off Linux.

I get the criticism against Microsoft and I agree, but implying that Apple is better than MS in terms of how open their platform is... no comment. Apple is especially hated because of their stupid limited platforms, which do not allow you to customize, upgrade the hardware and anything. buying an Apple computer is like buying a console gaming system, there's NO freedom whatsoever. so screw Apple, too, if you may.

@ANDREWOFPR2 I agree.... I think applesoldier is just hates DirectX because he doesn't like microsoft.... Windows is far better for gaming on than mac :P
