Here is virtuoso Venetian-style glassblowing "without a net." One mistake and all is lost! Where "making a goblet from parts" allows mistakes to be isolated and destroyed, this process moves relentlessly forward, allowing no retakes.

  • @xCelsius451x - it is a blowhose, essentially a tube connecting him lungs to the end of the blowpipe, so he can do the work of an assistant, without an assistant. It is one of the hallmark innovation Bill Gudenrath brings to the contemporary glass world.

    Gudenrath is a solo gaffer, he has optimized alot of procedures for individual work. like the museum said its his trademark basically.
